Catfish: Another Road Loss

Catfish Despite outhitting the Kannapolis Intimidators (White Sox) today, the Catfish fell to the home team, 6-2. Columbus had 11 hits while Kannapolis had 9, but where it counted, the Intimidators came out on top. Five times, the Catfish left runners in scoring position, which proved to be the difference.

Our two players, 1B Dan Batz and SS Lucas May had good games today. Luke had two hits, scored one of the runs and knocked in the other. Dan had a hit and a walk.

Despite the loss, the Catfish still earned a split with Kannapolis. After an off day tomorrow, they return to action Thursday night, hosting the Rome Braves in the first game of a four-game series that will close out the first half.
