Spring has sprung

Now that spring's here, I'm ready for things that happen in the springtime. You see, this wenter winter, I had some things that didn't work out all that well.

It started out good when I got myself a new truck. Things worked out real good for a bit, but the finance company found out where I was living and wanted it back or for me to make payments on it. One or the other.

So, I had to deal with that. I don't remember if I told y'all about it, but I visited some kinfolk I got that live up north. I took the Grayhound up there and spent a couple of weeks waiting for the finance company to give up.

While we was there, I went ice fishing. I hadn't never been ice fishing before, so's I didn't know what I'd be running into. Needless to say, we ran into some problems.

After we got done with that, I decided I'd had enough of that silly norhtern outdoors activity. I was for sure ready to get back down south so's I could go coon hunting or something.

The thing is, my coon dog don't put no fear in the hearts of the coons. I've got to get me another coon dog, I tell ya what.

Gosh, I sure hope this springtime works out better than the winter did.
