USA Today has a front page article today entitled "Ready on Day One?"
Well, in fact, I can answer that question regarding the three candidates pictured.
We have, from left, Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton (D-IL,AR,DC,NY), Barack Hussein Obama (D-IL), and John Sidney McCain, III (R-AZ).
Actually, Obama is to the left of Clinton, politically, but on the USA Today front page, it's in the order of the names I gave.
So, are they?
"Ready on Day One?"
Yes, they are. All of them.
Just, ready for different things.
Obama and Clinton, for instance, are ready to go after your wallet.
McCain, on the other hand, is ready to go after the enemies of freedom.
And that makes all the difference.
Excellent point, Basil. Now, if only those who say "I'm not voting for McCain" conservatives would understand the point.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Oh, and I still believe it'll sink in. They're angry now. They'll get over it. Most Conservatives are mature enough to. I'm banking that when one of the Unholy Duo finally emerges, the liberals who supported the loser will throw a hissy-fit and stay home. Or vote for Nader.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I disagree with Senator McCain (after all, he's MY Senator!) about campaign finance reform and the Illegals, I'd rather see him in the White House than either Shrillary or Osama Obama.
ReplyDeleteMcCain's stunt with that radio dude over the "barack Hussein Obama" thing is not helping him. He needs to stop giving the Base reasons to stay pissed at him.
ReplyDeleteExcellent points! I think this is going to be a great campaign. I also think that the democratic party is fracturing which will do them no good in the election. Their super delegates have to be just taking xanax constantly. They are between a rock and a hard place. There is just so much wrong with that.
ReplyDeleteI really believe that McCain is the right man at the right time. I agree with Teach though - sometimes he DOES get a little TOO diplomatic. I mean - that's the name Obama Hussein's parents gave him - so what's the problem?
Thank you.
