If all of your titles are in the cloud, it's not so much an issue. But when everything is local, you're at the mercy of humidity, temperature, and gremlins. Humidity and gremlins have been the bane of my existence for the last 10 years. :(C. There are 428 on Amazon. 314 on VUDU. That seems to add up to more than 800, but at least 288 of on each of those services are duplicates because of MoviesAnywhere. Buying a MoviesAnywhere eligible movie on any one of those services also adds it to the library of the other services, so that runs the number up above the actual number of different movies. But, it allows me a lot of freedom in how I want to watch those movies.

Anyway, having them in digital format from online services makes it easy to rebuild my library if need be. And when I upgraded my hard drive from 3TB to 6 TB, I needed.

Also, Disc To Digital (supported on Mac, PC, and Android) from VUDU has allowed me to turn my DVDs into digital movies.

I'm livin' the good life, I tell ya.Basilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00304218067534993876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3052406779197845814.post-22306243653824256602018-04-14T22:49:28.236-04:002018-04-14T22:49:28.236-04:00I've visited your blog a few times in the past...I've visited your blog a few times in the past, but damn, 800? I envy you!

(Had 400+ at one point, but lost a 4TB HD due to humidity, so I'm trying to rebuild the library again.)C.
