Nip that Marine praying stuff in the bud. If you let it continue, they'll start marrying, having kids, going to school and competing for jobs. I'm waiting for the ACLU to declare miliary service a crime.
The military, every branch, always has a prayer before something major: change of command, deployment formations, etc. The Aliens Civil Liberaties Union would have to triple in size to fight in court every case of where a military soldier bowed their head in prayer -- and let's not forget the saying "There are no athiests in foxholes."
This says it all for me:Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereofIt's amazing how many groups forget that part of the first amendement.
Caught a symptom of the Bible illiteracy wave today...CBS cancels "Joan of Arcadia" to put on a show about a woman who talks to dead people...Now, "Joan of Arcadia" is not exactly a model Christian show by any stretch of the imagination, but the comment from CBS was pretty funny...they think talking to dead people "skews younger" than talking to God...
Nickie - too late, those sneaky Marines are already breeding. We blame Granddad anytime any ladies in the family get worked up and are ready to say stuff un-lady like. "We can tell there's Marine blood in your veins"
