Miss Columbus Outstanding Teen 2009

Last Saturday night, my niece -- the daughter of my middle sister, the Mean One -- competed in the Miss Columbus Outstanding Teen pageant.

And she won!

I'm quite proud of my little niece. Only, she's not so little. Except in my mind.



There were three pageants in one: Miss Columbus, Miss Columbus Outstanding Teen, and Miss Southern Rivers Outstanding Teen.

My little niece had some tough competition from those other teens. There was some serious talent on the stage that night. But she won!

We're so proud of her.
