Tea Party vs ACORN

Why is the Tea Party any better than, say, ACORN?

ACORN was supposed to "empower the disenfranchised." But it didn't. It is a corrupt organization that perpetuates the problems it's supposed to solve.

And that's how liberal programs and policies work.

The Tea Party movement, on the other hand, is a true grass-roots movement. It's attracting people because it's giving a group voice to those who feel their own voices aren't being heard.

Cartoons: Guns, Obamacare, Rangel

Three cartoons to start the day. Okay, not start. But continue. Or something...

This one reminded me of something. This, maybe.

Congressman calls stimulus "Obama Slush Fund"

Congressman Mike Rogers (R-AL-3) took a shot at the president on the floor of the House recently. He asked, "where are the jobs." And he called the stimulus the "Obama Slush Fund."

[Also available on YouTube]

When you're spending trillions, what's a few million here and there?

Calling the administration on it is one of the reason I like Congressman Rogers.
