I'm still confused...

Nobody ever explained to me how nearly 2-million people could get into Washington, DC, in freezing weather in one day, when 200,000 couldn't get out of New Orleans at 80 degrees with four days notice?

Can you explain it?

  2. Yeah, I don't get that. Incidentally, I am a Kentuckian and I live in the county hardest hit by the ice storm (Grayson County). We had almost no notice at all but after the first wave of ice hit, we fled to Nashville and remained in a nice warm hotel room until Saturday morning after our power was restored. I share your confusion.
