Catfish Austin Hinkle is SAL Pitcher of the Week

Another Columbus Catfish player has been recognized by the South Atlantic League for a good week's work.

RP Austin Hinkle picked up the honor today, being named the South Atlantic League Pitcher of the Week:

In a strong week for relievers, Hinkle was the best. The Catfish closer saved four games last week for Columbus, throwing four hitless innings in the process. The right-hander struck out the side Monday in Asheville to preserve a victory, and punched out nine of the 14 batters he faced last week. Two walks were the only blemishes for Hinkle, who now has 12 saves on the year for Columbus.

Two Catfish pitchers, Jason Ragan and Jeremy Hall, earned SAL honors as pitchers of the week earlier this season, while Greg Sexton took player of the week honors last week.
