I'm not sure if I get a lot of e-mail or not, but let's look at some quick stats. I installed Norton AntiSpam on one of my computers on February 27, 2004. Here it is, 301 days later and on that computer I have received 17,358 spams. That's an average of over 57 a day. Now, to be fair, I have more than one e-mail address. But most of the spam comes in on one main account. I don't like spam.
So, anyway, I saw this news story and started digging. So, just who is Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein? He's the judge that said it's okay to sue the airlines for the 9/11 attacks. I may be just a dumb redneck, but I really don't think Boeing or American Airlines are to blame for that. I'm thinking the blame lies with the terrorists, but I'm silly that way. He's made some other rulings that I'm not too keen on. Google him, if you want to know more. I'm not going to do your work for you. What, did I take you to raise?
Anyway, about the spam. The guy who used to work for AOL (they canned him) pled guilty. And this moonbat judge rejected the plea. The prosecution says they guy did it. The guy says he did it. But the judge isn't sure. If he hooked up with two or three more clowns, he could start a circus. So, anyway, if you want to share your opinion with the Honorable Alvin K. Hellerstein, you can reach him at:
Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein
US District Court
500 Pearl Street, Room 910
New York, NY 10007-1312
No, I don't have an e-mail address for him. But, I like the way you think.
You should not second guess judges without reading and providing a link to their opinion. We do not know to what point of law the judge disagreed.
ReplyDeleteJudges are the last defenders of society against anarchy whether you agree with their decisions or not. You would do better for everyone to admit you do not know the specifics on the case, and that you are most likely arguing a point that has nothing to do with why the plea was thrown out.
We also do not know if there will be a trial. A plea bargain is negotiated before jeopardy is attached in most cases. This does not necessarily mean the defendant is "off the hook". In other words you might just be a dumb redneck.
Maybe I am. Didn't I say that? I knew I heard it somewhere.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how to respond to someone who thinks spamming is okay and that US airlines are responsible for 9/11.
I always love a well-thought argument.
Thanks for sharing.
OK,
ReplyDeleteI never heard of Alvin K. Hellerstein until today. I confess, I just can't keep up with everything that's going on, no matter how important.
That said,
Today, I found out who he is. He's the guy who ruled in favor of the ACLU's case against the govt. to release the Abu Garib photos.
What small child wouldn't know better than to release those photos for general consumption???
So, I googled Alvin and it said all I needed it to say to see his logic:
"Appointed by William J. Clinton."
Why do the Dems want to destroy the country?
Why are they succeeding at such an alarming rate????

ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm not too sure about Alvin and others like him. Or maybe I am sure about them: they're idiots. I mean, I can't assign evil intentions to what they do; they must just be stupid and think they are doing the right thing. How they walk upright and are able to feed themselves is beyond me.
I am NOT antisemetic, but I must reflect on the words of that great moral philosopher, Adolph Hitler. His comment was that if they were hanging Jews in the public square, you would find a Jew running around selling rope. Yes, the ACLU and the leftist jurists should defend the worst of us and bless them for that, but MUST they demand the death of the best of us by publication of MORE photos that will surely get long-term top billing on El Gizira????? It is the looney left that always demands that we countermand constitutional principles if they don't coincide with their concept of "social justice".
