Our interview panel is ready...
And now the first question...
i heard somewhere that you and zweibel knew each other in high school...how long have you known him?
Yes, that's true. Zweibel and I met our sophomore year, and became good friends the year after. I could tell you some stories about the crazy crap this lunatic did during our educational days, but I'll pass for now. So, all in all, I'd say about five years.
Which wine should I serve with dinner? I'm having salmon.
Why are you having salmon in the first place? Stuff makes me vomit. Oh well, when in Rome, eh? Anyway, I recommend a nice bourbon and soft drink mix. Wine's way too overrated.
Chocolate, Vanilla or Strawberry?
I'm going to assume that you're talking about ice cream, so I'm going to have to go with vanilla. Chocolate and strawberry aren't that bad, either.
Is it better to play sports or watch sports?
It depends on the setting. Take for example the Super Bowl. I watched it with some family and friends and absolutely enjoyed it. Plus the Steelers won. However, stepping out on the football field was always a total adrenaline rush.
How much mileage have you gotten out of that free swag you won?
I'd give it a good six to seven hundred miles. I wore it on my recent move from Missouri to Ohio, and when I stopped for fuel I either got a good laugh or an evil death glare.
If you met John Kerry in person - what would you say to him (without profanity or fists)?
I would ask him just how many licks it would take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop. Actually, in all seriousness, I would ask him just why he thought he should be president of our nation when he spent his career trying to defame great men like my father and uncle did in Vietnam for our country. Then I'd tell him to f*$% off and punch him in the nose.
If you had ten seconds of airtime on a major network, with no rules or limitations, what would you say?
I wouldn't say anything. However, that Numa Numa Dance is sure a catchy tune.
What's the best thing about radio?
The best thing about radio is the people you meet. I've rubbed elbows in my time in radio from people ranging from the mayor of Poplar Bluff, MO to US Senators. Almost got to meet Pres. Bush one time, but someone had stolen my wallet and I didn't have ID for the three ID checkpoints. Blast!
What are your true feelings about pillaging and plundering?
Pillaging and plundering is a lost art. Those jokers in New Orleans could've learned something from a few real pirates.
What's the best thing about Missouri?
Missouri has some of the best scenery in the country, especially where I used to live. Plus it's easy to get a handgun permit. Woot!
What made you decide to start blogging?
Definitely the fallout of Election 04. I felt as if I had a lot to say on the matter, and didn't have a good place to say it. Ha, I do now!
Who's your favorite blogger that doesn't share your birthday?
Not to sound like an arsekisser, but I've always been fond of Basil.
... that you DON'T share a birthday with?
I'd have to say that my favorite blogger is B-Cack on DPT's site. This guy's a lush with a penchant for monkey porn and poo stories. What's not to love about that?
Steve the Pirate and I share several things in common. The birthday. The background in radio. And pretty much an outlook on life. I've enjoyed this, and I hope our swash-buckling guest has, too.
Tomorrow, it's Holly Aho of Soldier's Angel.
[...] Yours truly has been interviewed by Basil! [...]
