Yesterday, he and 300 or so of his fellow soldiers (along with some sailors, airmen, and Marines) were awarded their wings.
Then, the Airborne classes marched in, listened to a brief speech, and were awarded their wings.
That's when I was given one of the greatest honors I've had: I was given the opportunity to pin the wings on the Lieutenant.
Like I said before, he's a fine young man. And I proud to know him.
