This Bites

Sometimes, things go horribly wrong.

Take my eating a caramel. Normally, that would be a fun experience.

Unless the caramel pulls a crown lose.

And that's what happened to me.

Now, I've got to get me an appointment with a dentist and get this thing fixed. I'm not sure if I'm going to the dentist that put this thing in to start with, or if I'm going to go to a different one. I wasn't exactly all that thrilled with the last dentist, and that's part of why I'm overdue for a dental checkup.

But now, I've got a real good reason to go to the dentist. Or a real bad reason. But a reason, nonetheless.

The Wife will be happy that I'm going to the dentist. Trying to get me to go has been ... wait for it ... like pulling teeth.

  5. Ugh. Dentist. Had to go last week myself, though fortunately and knock wood my crown (singular) happens to be in good shape for the moment, so it was only a filling. Still...I do like caramels. The agony of choosing between caramels and risk! OK, who am I kidding. Caramels win. Hope your visit is relatively painless.

Hey Bro, Why don't you go to Wally World and get this temporary glue stuff...no, I don't know the name of it. If I did, I would write it here :) Any way, that stuff works really well on loose crowns. It is like chewing gum, and it will hold it in for a LONG time...you might not have to go to the dentist after all.
