The Worst?

So Jimmy Carter called the Bush administration "the worst in history"???

Jimmy Carter?

Heck, I remember when he was a bad governor. And when he was a bad president.

But the man from Plains has decided that George W. Bush's foreign policy is bad. So bad, that it's the worst in history.

Hmmm.

Jimmy Carter and foreign policy?

You know, I can think of 444 reasons why Jimmy Carter isn't the best one to talk about foreign policy.

  3. I was stationed at Fort Stewart when he announced he was running in 74. Everyone thought it was a joke.

  4. Don: I remember his announcement, too. We were at my grandparents, eating when it came on the TV in the living room. We all stopped eating, looked at each other and laughed.

And, the Savannah Morning News ran a cartoon the next day (or two) picturing a snowball in Hell to Carter's chances.

    The joke was on us.

And on the rest of the country.

  5. There's no way Jimmeh can give that title away! He tried to claim he was misquoted and the person who interviewed him played the interview! Sounds like Kerry and his "joke"!
