Cynthia McKinney

It's been a couple of years since the Wife and I went to Stone Mountain. The first time she ever went was with me. I took her to see Merle Haggard on Labor Day Weekend in 2003.

Her whole life, she lived closer to Stone Mountain than I did, since I lived in southeast Georgia most of my life. But, she finally went there and enjoyed it. So, we've been back a few times since then. And, she's taken the grandchildren over there when she had days off during the week.

But the last time she and I went there, we took I-285 around Atlanta on the south side. That's when I saw a sign that said "Cynthia McKinney Highway."

Now, this was during the time she was out of Congress, I believe. She may have just made it back in, I'm not certain.

Regardless, those idiots that name roads in Atlanta names a stretch of road for Cynthia McKinney? Yep, that's what they did. Officially, it's Memorial Drive, but you know how they'll name a stretch of road after someone? They named a stretch of Memorial Drive after Cynthia McKinney.

No, I'm not making this up. Rockman at LGF testifies to the truth of my statement.

Anyway, when I took that exit (because it's GA-10, which goes to Stone Mountain), I looked over at the wife, unable to speak. That's when I noticed a sign: "Free At Last Bail Bonds"

No, I'm not making that up, either. See?

Why am I bringing this up?

Well, I'm wondering if she gets a discount there.

  1. They named a stretch of I-285 (along the west side) after her father.

  2. Cynthia McKinney update - don’t know if it’s a misdemeanor or a felony....

This Congresswoman is toxic. The worst kind of product of our nation’s humanities Ph.D. programs. So I am enjoying the prospect of her arrest. If you read regularly, you’ll be able to get that from my subtle previous posting about the Cong...

  5. Cynthia McKinney Highway...

Not only is she a violent peace protester, but Rep. Cynthia McKinney has a highway named after her. Basil's Blog reported on it. I left this message:...

The problem with "Jihad Cindy" isn't her race, it's that she's an arrogant spoiled brat, as I explained six weeks ago:

Nobody with any sense has ever taken McKinney seriously -- she only got a seat in Congress because her father, Billy McKinney, was a big Democratic power-broker in Atlanta -- but you get the feeling that one of these days she's bound do something that will be an even bigger embarassment for Democrats than her ties to radical Islam.
And now she's done exactly that. (Kind of prophetic, wasn't I?) If she wants to fight the Capitol Police in court, then the video of her slamming that policeman becomes a matter of public record, and Bill O'Reilly's huge audience will be watching that incident replayed over, and over, and over ... Hey, what is it now, 7 months until Election Day?

  7. Enervated...

Sorry, I’m just too tired to write today. I’m even too tired to read Basil’s personal travelogue of the Cynthia McKinney Highway.

  8. Once again Cynthia McKinney has reared her ugly head, and I do mean ugly. She no longer wears the braids and the big ol' bow which must have put pressure on the cerebral cortex ( that is if she even has one), but she is now wearing her hair in an off beat auburn color with intermitant cork screw curls poking through a 70's afro. No wonder the Capitol policeman did not recognize her. Neither did I when the story first appeared. This delusional fruitcake has been a constant source of humiliation for the State of Georgia, since she first came on the scene. I truly hope that she is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, where she can further cultivate her delusions about her own self importance. She has never done anything to help the people of the state of Georgia, only to bring embarassment at every turn. She is like a bad penny that keeps turning up. She has been put in office by the uneducated, the illiterate and the some of the poorest people of her district, that she has contiinued to take advantage of their situations. I can't wait to hear what she has to say in her second interview about this so called "assault". If there was a legal fund set up for this capitol policeman she belted in the chest, I would gratefully send money to secure his defense. Next election, vote ABC "Anybody but Cynthia"!

  9. As an American and Caucasian I am appalled that people like you use the race card every time "Blacks" don't get their way. When it comes to Racism it is "Black America" that keep it's ugly head held high. It is "Black America" that continues to keep Racism Alive and Strong. Ms. McKinney your record speaks Volumes about the kind of person you are. You have NO class, NO Morals and you are a Woman who has NO character. You see as a White Woman I could careless about the color of one's Skin..Apparently you cannot. How dare you call that Police Officr a Racists simply because HE was doing his J.O.B.???? Unlike you Ms. McKinney a Persons MORAL CHARACTER is what matters to me. Unfortunatly you lack both. You were never a Slave and I Have NEVER owned one. May I remind YOU Ms. McKinney people like McGovern and Wallace Both DEMOCRATS fought to keep Segregation alive. May I remind you Ms. McKinney the Democratic Party has a FORMER KKK Grand Wizard AKA... Sen. Robert Byrd on board. May I remind YOU Ms. McKinney it took a REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT to Free the slaves. His Name? President Abraham Lincoln. Just because your skin is dark doesn't exempt YOU from following the LAWS of this Country put forth by the PEOPLE of this country. And Just one more thing Ms. McKinney... where was your OUTRAGE when DEMOCRATS were Referring to ELECTED Conservative Republican BLACKS such as Michael Steele as an "OREO", Dr. Rice as an "AUNT JAMIMA" "BROWN SUGAR", Clarence Thomas an "UNCLE TOM?" ALan Keyes, J.C. Watts all BLACKS being Attacked by YOUR Party? Face it Cynthia, you're a disgrace not only to the position you hold but to AMERICA. Shame on YOU. Grow up.

  10. Rep.Cynthia McKinney had Harry Belafonte at her press conference as a supporter.

HARRY BELAFONTE to HUGO CHAVEZ, president of Venezuela: "And no matter what the greatest tyrant in the world, the greatest terrorist in the world George W. Bush says WE'RE here to tell you that not hundreds, not thousands, but millions support your revolution, your ideas and are expressing our solidarity with you,"

HUGO CHAVEZ, an admirer of FIDEL CASTRO, (put hugo chavez, fidel castro TOGETHER in a search engine and see what comes up.) is a contributor of this quote. "The left is back, and it's the only path we have to get out of this spot to which the right has sunken us.....Socialism builds and capitalism destroys."

FIDEL CASTRO quote, "I am a Marxist Leninist and I will be one until the day I die."

VLADIMER LENIN said "Our program necessarily includes the propagandaof atheism."

Who are the millions Harry is referring to? Notice who is applauding Harry when he speaks and what groups invite him to speak. How about the AARP?

Lets connect the connections, VLADIMER....FIDEL....HUGO....HARRY.....CYNTHIA=Birds of a feather? You are judged by the company you keep. Guilty by association.

  11. Cynthia McKinney is an idiot. How the people of Georgia could reelect her to congress after she was kicked out is beyond me to figure out. Her district must be full of a bunch of idiots like her.

  12. The state of Georgia is a black mecca. The only people keeping racism alive here are the black people like Cynthia McKinney. To answer a couple of your questions yes the idiots that are keeping her in office are poor and uneducated racist black people. It is hard quite frankly to live here as a caucasian in a mostly black state I have been discriminated against so much that I am moving out of here. It is uncomfortable here where there is so much hatred and crime.

  14. Well Well Well, So now Cynthia is apologizing deeply and sincerely for the incident with the Capital Police. Too Little, way too late. I guess the word
"FELONY" wiped that smart A$$ smile off her face real quick. I hope she is prosecuted and sent to prison for her actions. Never in the history of this country has there been a more arrogant, ignorant, delusional, spoiled
brat that got elected to a public office. If she were not holding an elected position, this woman would be totally unemployable. She thinks this is Cynthia's world and the rest of us just get to live on it by her permission.
No McKinney, you are a racist, just as your father is a racist, and there are no special rules for just your and daddy.

  15. I suppose the thing that aggrevates us the most is the simple fact that the distinguished Congresswomen just is not able to say, "Oops, my bad" and move forward. What was the immediate reaction? Make it a gender/race issue.

As a Federal civil servant, we are very race conscious and do all we can to level the paying field for EVERYBODY. One would hope that a female who has no doubt excelled at the finest schools (US Berkeley I believe) and is now an elected member of Congress wouls be able to get over this and recognize her civic duty to the Nation. Granted, she's not elected by the Nation but with the advent of television and CNN everywhere you turn, you see her face with "US Congress" just below. Guilt by association, I suppose you could say.

I hope that people will see that Cynthia is who she is and take appropriate action. I'm sure the Capitol Police can handle their own so I'm not concerned about them but I'm am concerned that she go on reaping the benefits of her elected position in Congress.

    V/r, an avererage Joe
