Tonight was much better for the Catfish. After dropping the doubleheader last night, Columbus took game three of this four-game series, 7-5.
Luke was 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs. His batting average is now over .300 and tops on the team. His home run was his third in the South Atlantic League, and the wife and I have seen all three. She was excited and just squealed when the ball bounced off the scoreboard above left-center.
Dan had a good evening, too, going 1-for-3, plus a walk, and two RBIs. His average is up six points, so it was a good night all the way around.
Friday night, they can gain a split in the series before heading to Savannah this weekend. They should do well. Savannah's a pretty good team, but if the breaks go their way, no one can beat the Catfish.
