Bob Orr (Either Orr)

Today, it's an interview with a clever fellow named Bob Orr, of Either Orr...

We've some questions lined up and the panel is ready to go...

First question...

Sounds like you're old enough to remember 45s and LPs. Did you ever play them at 78 and/or backwards, and is that one of your inspirations for parodies?

Not only do I remember 'em, I still own a lot of 'em, including some 78s. And, yes, that is an inspiration for parodies, especially if I've just been listening to 'em.

Do you have any sacred cows?

Only the one that will provide my next steak.

yak
How many moonbats does it take to change a lightbulb?

That depends upon the wattage. A low-watt bulb will require fewer moonbats; a 150-watt spotlight will require an entire army of 'em because they can't stand the light.

bob or bobby?

bob. Keeps me separate from the hockey player of the same name, to whom I am at best distantly related.

DonW
A Night At The Opera? Or A Day At The Races?

A Night At The Opera (though both were good movies).

DonW
The Queen Album or the Marx Brothers movie?

Without a doubt, the Marx Brothers movie. I have long been a Marxist of the Groucho, Harpo, Chico and sometimes Zeppo sort.

bachman
What does Popeye see in Olive Oyl?

Must be the long legs.

how's your slap shot?

Back in the day, my wrister was better.

Monty Python or the Firesign Theater?

Ernie Kovacs.

yak
Coffee, tea or soda?

Tea. Iced tea. Copious quantities of iced tea.

squirrel
What's the most Redneck / White trash thing you've ever done?

Hard to say, I've done so many. Probably the first real instance of it was playing "Okie from Muskogee" between a Dead tune and a Cream tune on my college radio station way back when.

forward or defense?

Defense. With my name, that's where I got stuck.
