    Baseball - No, Kinston is in the Carolina League (Class A - Advanced) which is a step up from South Atlantic League (Class A). Before the Catfish, Columbus had the RedStixx (now the Lake County Captains of SAL), and players from the RedStixx advanced to Kinston to play.
