Hans Mast at The (not so) Daily Me had this on his site. And I couldn't resist. He didn't use the phrase, but someone my age would call it a "Reader's Digest" kind of test. They used to carry stuff like this in RD all the time. And they were fun, whether I showed up as a genius or a moron.
UPDATE: For the record and so there is no misunderstanding, little tests such as this are considered by me to be an exercise in fun, nothing more. Also, I know what my IQ is. It is not 140. I am not a genius. But I am a smart-ass, to I have that going for me.

OK, I took the test and got a LOWER score than 140. I bet a lot of folks who scored low are just not wanting to admit it! I got a 120 and I'm not ashamed to say it!

ReplyDeleteJust because I know how to cheat, doesn't mean that I do. After all, the Army trained me to kill, and I haven't killed anyone since I left the service. :)
I will admit that I guessed on the last question. But that brings up the question of would I rather be lucky or good. To which I say, I don't care.
Also, concerning the validity of such a test, keep in mind that it said my verbal intelligence is "genius." I mean, really; have you read this little blog? Verbal intelligence = genius? Come on!
Oh, and I was a C student.
