Gizoogle

While the wife watches tapes of Guiding Light, I take the opportunity to surf. Monday night, I ran across something funny at bookofjoe: a link to the search engine Gizoogle. If it sounds like something Snoop Dog would be affiliated with, you're close. Some Snoop Dog fans set it up, or so claims the Gizoogle site.

No, I'm still not the top search result. Gotta keep trying. By the way, the results are not the same as a Google or a Yahoo! search, so it doesn't seem to be front end on top of one of those.

bookofjoe suggests that the site may be shut down soon by Google and its gaggle of lawyers. He's probably right. But it is fun to Gizoogle stuff. And bookofjoe asks why would someone waste their time on something that has such a short life-span as this probably will have.

Why indeed?

    basil you're my hero. My wife's always claimed I find the most obscure websites, but gizoogle is the shizznit. I giggled like a school girl for a good hour after translating my blog. Not only is gizoogle amusing, it is informative; now I'll be able to carry on a conversation with my local crack dealer. Thanks basil.
