The woes continued for the Montgomery Biscuits Thursday night, as they fell for the third time in a row, and for the second time to the Chattanooga Lookouts (Reds).
The Biscuits managed only three hits in the 5-1 loss. Two came in the second inning. 3B Evan Longoria doubled to left field, moved to third on RF Shaun Cumberland's grounds out to second, and scored when 1B Gabriel Martinez singled up the middle.
The Biscuits managed only one more hit and two baserunners the rest of the night.
SS Reid Brignac walked in the 4th, but was erased on a double play. Martinez singled to lead the 8th inning, but didn't get past second base.
Starter Derek Feldkamp allowed all 5 runs ... 3 earned ... and was tagged with the loss.
The Biscuits try to get back on track Friday night as the 5-game series continues.
