Catfish: Another Loss In Greensboro

The Catfish dropped another game to the Greensboro Grasshoppers (Marlins) tonight, 9-4. It was the second loss in two games in Greensboro. Two more games are scheduled there before the Catfish head to Kannapolis, NC Saturday.

Our two players, Dan Batz and Lucas May, each had a hit. Dan also had an RBI.

Earlier, the Catfish lost pitcher Phil Sobkow, who was released by the Dodgers. Phil had pitched one of his best games of the year Saturday, picking up a win in his second start of the year. Phil has been replaced by Steve Nelson, who hasn't played since 2003 due to an injury. Steve played in Columbus when the Catfish were known as the South Georgia Waves.
