Catfish: Winning Streak Continues

Go Catfish! The Catfish now have their longest winning streak of the season. Tonight, they won their third game in a row, 10-1 over the Hickory Crawdads (Pirates).

Our two players had good nights tonight. Dan Batz went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Lucas May went 2-for-4 (two doubles) with 2 RBIs and a run scored.

The Catfish pitcher, Chris Malone, had the team's second complete game of the season, allowing only 3-hits. Both teams played errorless ball.

At the moment, the Catfish three-game winning streak is the longest current winning streak in the South Division of the South Atlantic League.

They can make it four in a row with a win Friday night, when they play Hickory in game two of the four-game series.
