How can I get me one of those cute lil Technorati links icons/tags?
ReplyDeleteIf you're talking about the one that appears under each post (-- Links to this post --) then the code for a Blogger (blogspot.com) site is:
ReplyDelete<p><a href="http://technorati.com/search/<$BlogItemPermalinkUrl$>"><img alt="Technorati icon" src="http://technorati.com/pix/icn-talkbubble.gif" /> Technorati links</a></p>
However, Blogger sites have something that WordPress sites dont: Backlinks. And they show up right on your blog. And I wrote a post once about how to make them appear on the front page (Inline Backlinks), under each post, instead of (as is standard/default) just on the individual post page.
So, if you're looking for a way to show more links to your individual posts, you actually are ahead of the game because of Backlinks.
NOTE: This comment edited to reflect a correction to the Blogger/Technorati code

Alabama improper, when I try to post on your blog, I can't??? As for the backlink, I tried to add the feature that shows all the links on a post, it didn't work. Now I can't even find the darn blogger hack that allowed me to add it so I can figure out what went wrong. I suspect it may be because of haloscan, but I am not sure.

Basil, if you pull up one of my posts at more, you'll see a code bleeding through instead of a list of backlinks I was try to show. I can't find the mistake. Can you view my source and see if you see an error if I am not imposing on you. Then so I won't tie up comments you can email me if you like! Thank you in advance.
