I mentioned earlier the two heartbreaking 1-run losses the Catfish had suffered in Savannah. Well, they suffered another one Monday. A scheduled 7-inning contest went 10 before Savannah won 4-3. The Catfish had left men on third base in the 8th and 10th innings.
The second game went the scheduled 7 innings, and the Catfish finally prevailed, 2-0. The pitching held the Sand Gnats to two hits, both singles in the third and sixth inning respectively.
Tuesday ends the series in Savannah. We're looking forward to seeing them back in Columbus Wednesday night.
