WTW: Read Any Good Books Lately?

The other day, my cousin Basil got tagged with that Book Meme that's going around. Sort of like the flu. Anyway, he answered and sent it on.

Thing is, someone else tagged him, too. While that Phin tagged him first, about the time Basil got his response up and posted, Manic Viking turned around and tagged him again. So, since he'd already answered, and since he takes Wednesday mornings off for White Trash Wednesdays, he asked me to take it for him.

Q: You're stuck inside Fahrenheit 451, which book do you want to be?
A: Now, why would I want to be a book inside a book? Especially a book which is about burning books? So, I'd like to be a cookbook. Bound in asbestos. Which cookbook? "To Serve Man."

Q: Have you ever had a crush on a fictional Character?
A: Well, that Nancy Drew is pretty hot.

Q: The last book you bought is?
A: On the floorboard in the back seat of the Chevrolet. It's a Chilton manual for that Chevrolet.

Q: The last book you read?
A: One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.

Q: What are you currently reading?
A: Fox In Socks.

Q: Five books I would take to a deserted island:
A: This is easy. I don't think I want to take a book that I haven't already read or heard of.

• "The Bible." King James Version, like the Apostle Paul used to carry around.


• "Nancy Drew and the Secret of the Old Clock." Mine had the last couple of pages missing, and I never got the end of it.


• "Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Sex* But Were Afraid To Ask." Because I'm afraid to ask.


• "Encyclopedia Galactica." You see, I know when it gets published, and I don't want to be stranded on an island until the first issue is published.


• "To Serve Man." A guy's gotta eat.

Q: Who are you going to pass this stick to (3 persons) and Why?
A1: Beulah Mae. Cause she's HOT! Even hotter than that Nancy Drew chick.
A2: Dan, cause he's taking Wednesdays off, but I'm hoping to draw him back in.
A3: Eric cause he's White. He's Trash. And he used to date a girl named Wednesday.
